HomeworkCentral.Com is a huge site divided into three sections based on age. Information covers all fields including animals, arithmetic, history, science, arts, countries, economics, geography and much, much more.

The URL name says it all, Homework Heaven. Over 12,000 links to help with even the most pesky homework problems. There are 21 different categories including current events, art, history, math and science. And then, if you click on science, there are 25 subcategories! The site also contains links to 64 search engines and 50 homework indexes.

The Internet Public Library Reference Center, this site is set up like the reference section of the library. It contains "centers" for Science and Technology, Reference, Education, Arts and Humanities, Health and Medical Sciences, Law, Government and Political Science, Business, Social Science, and Computers and Technology. There is even a Reference Desk where you can submit a question to a real librarian.

KidsClick! is a searchable and comprehensive directory of Internet resources for kids, selected by librarians, with notes on reading levels.

Study Web is advertised as "a place to find information as easily as possible" -- and it lives up to it's billing! It contains over 73,000 research URL's and is very easy to use. At the home page simply click on the "Full Table of Contents" selection and look for the subject you are interested in. The research URL's are very rich in material and rated by visual content and approximate grade level. Just to give you an example, there were 8 sites for information on hamsters, and 11 for guinea pigs. (The search engine on the home page is to locate books, by subject, that are for sale.)

This is the United Federation of Teachers web site and contains lesson plans, parent resources, web sites of interest, links to great educational sites and software online.
